Unit Student Activities Jama'ah Cinema Mahasiswa (JCM). Jama'ah Cinema Mahasiswa (the JCM) Kine Club IAIN Sunan Units Kalijaga Yogyakarta is a non-profit activities that accommodate enthusiasts, penggembangan and observers Cinema which consists of individuals who are concerned and care about the development of cinema and culture in society. JCM was established on October 29, 1993, and promulgated into SMEs with SK rector of IAIN Sunan Kalijaga on October 17, 1997, and officially became a member SENAKK (National Sekretariatan Kine Club Indonesia) on December 1, 1997.

Two Step Strategic Its taken JCM is:

1. To the public in general and students in particular in the form of media awareness campaigns and education. Either through training programs, workshops, discussion and appreciation of the cinematographic work or play movies or films alternative arts and entertainment movies.
2. To film actors in the form of awards that stimulate their idealism and creativity. The JCM to have a special program for the provision of grace (award) "Su'alik award" to sudradara or Indonesian filmmaker who (according JCM) is considered able to produce quality films.

The purpose of Jama 'ah Cinema Mahasiswa (JCM)

Because the film merupkan the only art that is capable of representing the (representative) the complexity of this age. The film also represents the passion we are almost without limit, the battle of ideas, technology, transformation and combat money-no one in the film.
